When it comes to finding free photos to use for your blog, you have several great sources to choose from. Whether I’m making blog graphics or social media pins, I use the sites listed below to find free, high-quality photos.
Good for commercial-use!
Each of these sites provides downloadable photos for any use under the CC0 License (or other similar terms). This is one of the friendliest licenses for bloggers because it allows you to use the photos for commercial use (e.g. your blog!) and you don’t have to credit the source. It’s always a good idea to double-check the license for yourself.
Which is the best?
As you spend more time on free stock photo sites, you’ll probably notice some overlap of images. So because of the duplicate selections, one site isn’t recommended over the other.
If you want a more unique photo, you’ll have better luck on a site like Picjumbo, whose photos were taken and uploaded by the site owner himself. (Though, due to user submissions, these photos can show up on other sites and might not be entirely unique.)
So many options!
With the selection of photos from these sites and from newsletter freebies, you’ll be sure to have ample choices for your blog.
